At the Canaan Fair
Memorial Weekend, the RMR #4 and #44 were among those
that just didn't seem to be able to get hooked up to the
track.
A second row draw behind heat winner Johnny Clark
resulted in 2nd place heat finish for Travis while a
back row draw made Ben work for 5th place.
Early in the 150 lap feature, Travis narrowly missed
disaster when Patrick Laperle in the #91 snapped
sideways while trying to avoid the spinning car of Alan
Tardiff. Ben suffered some nose damage that did not slow
the #4.
Ben and Travis ran around mid-field for the race,
staying out of trouble but not able to make much headway
on the leaders. The #4 and #44 finished
4.754 and 6.164 seconds respectively behind winner
Cassius Clark. |
