EDDIE HOFFMAN WINS SPEEDFEST 200 @ USA INT'L
Rowe Dominating, Crashed Out by Middleton

Eddie Hoffman found himself in the right place at the right time.  With just four laps remaining, a dominant Ben Rowe was crashed out of the lead by Jay Middleton.

Hoffman, who was running third at the time, narrowly escaped the carnage and held off a hard-charging Butch Miller on the final restart of the race after the Rowe/Middleton mishap to claim the victory.  Miller followed for second, followed by Justin Drawdy and Cassius Clark.  Middleton regrouped to finish 12th, but Rowe wound up 19th.

In the "North 100", Ben took over the lead a few laps from the finish as the dominating car of Butch Miller fell off the pace.  Ben had come up through the pack from a 19th place starting position. Jeremy Lepak finished second. PASS competitors Cassius Clark placed third and Mike Rowe came home in twelveth.

A major crash on the first lap of the North race took out many Speedfest favorites, including Jeff Fultz, Shelby Howard, Ryan Lawler, and Charlie Menard plus PASS competitors Patrick Laperle and Corey Williams.

In the other preliminary race to Saturday's "Speedfest 200," the "South 100" saw Wayne Anderson cross the line ahead of Jay Middleton and Justin Drawdy.
