4th at the PASS Summerfest 150 |

The RMR #4 had a solid run
a the Summerfest 150 at Riverside Speedway with a 4th
place finish.
Starting from 11th, Ben worked his way up into fourth
after battling for many laps with Adam Bates in the
black #98. The #4 was running well, giving Ben a chance
of doing better than in the past at Riverside. But the
race flew by in 43 minutes with only two cautions and
with Cassius Clark in the #8 back to running away in the
lead and putting cars a lap down. An additional caution
would have allowed Ben a chance to race Kelly Moore and
Donnie Whitten for 2nd and 3rd on the restart.
Rebounding from two disappointing finishes of 20th and
9th, Ben moves into third in the North SLM points with
1888. Johnny Clark holds onto the points lead with 1939
markers, and Adam Bates moves back into second with
1899. Derek Ramstrom drops to fourth, just 1 point back
with 1887. |
