A 9th after a Tire Problem
Ben and the rest of the
North SLMs spent the day chasing Derek Ramstrom at his
home track as Derek pulled away for the win.
In the 75 feature, Ben was running in the top six when a
torn up, blistered right front tire slowed the #4n. Ben
made it to the pits for a replacement but was penalized
a lap for stopped on the track to bring out the yellow.
DJ Shaw and Adam Bates has tires go down after cuts or
contract with another car and both pounded the fourth
turn wall.
With another 9th, Ben falls to 3rd in the points, But
just 3 behind Bates and 4 over Ramstrom. Johnny Clark is
back in the lead with 1509 markers
versus Ben's 1485 at the half way point of the PASS
